Office of Information Technology Services
Directed by Pam Moorehead, the School of Education's Office of Information Technology Services provides hardware, software and network support for the school's faculty and staff.
In other words, they're the people you'll want to talk to if your computer goes on the fritz and won't turn on, if you need the latest version of Photoshop installed on your machine, or if you're having trouble getting access to the files on the school's shared drive. They also service your phone!
The ITS office can also provide a wide range of multimedia equipment, including everything from video and audio recording equipment, to computer cables and other accessories, and even 3-D printers and scanner.

Need Tech? Don't have the money in your budget?
The Office of Information Technology Services uses VCU's Cherwell system in order to process requests quickly and efficiently. To submit a request, go to https://go.vcu.edu/itsupport.
For instructions on how to use the Cherwell system, read the Google doc. Once your request is submitted, the ITS team will be alerted and should be back in touch shortly to respond. You may also contact us at 827-2604 for your more immediate needs. Our email is soeit@vcu.edu.

The Digital Playground instructional lab, located in Oliver Hall, Room 3108, features plenty of technology tools, including 3-D printers, smartboards, laptops and tablets.
This multi-purpose, collaborative workspace is open daily to faculty, staff and students, except when a class is in session.
Faculty can reserve this space for instruction by submitting a service ticket through LANDESK.
